Eating healthy portions of well-cooked meat – There are a lot of bacteria in raw meat and this means that if you do not cook your meat well enough, that bacteria may survive and be passed onto the unborn child. Make sure that you do not eat raw meat or even meat that is not cooked well. And eat smaller portions of meat so that you don’t gain too much fat in your body.
Stay away from raw food – Even though others will benefit from raw foods, pregnant women shouldn’t eat them. So raw milk and cheese aren’t good for you to eat. If you just love sashimi, you might have to give it up for a while. There may be bacteria in these foods that aren’t good for your unborn child.
Frozen products – And these include frozen pies or just about any other frozen product. Don’t forget that you and your unborn baby are eating the same things. So, you need to watch what you eat.
