Pimples are a menacing problem for most of the teenagers today. As you enter into puberty, as part of the changes in the whole body, pimples also pop out of your skin. Since the skin which was perfectly clear before becomes populated with pimples and the blemishes it leaves, the face becomes less attractive.

Pimples affect the self confidence of teenagers to a great extent. It affects boys and girls alike and hence it is a common problem. However, if taken proper care, pimples can be got ridden off completely. But it will require a little effort and patience from your side.

There are many creams and ointments available in the market. These are mostly expensive and some even cause side effects. There are many simple steps which might be very effective in helping you get a pimple-free skin.

One simple thing that requires hardly any effort is drinking water. Drink at least ten glasses of pure water every day. Carry a bottle of water wherever you go; keep one in your car, one in your handbag and one at your desk in the office room. Pure water takes away all the impurities from your skin in the process making way for a clear skin too.

Wash your face often in clean water. Make it a habit because your face comes into contact with a lot of dirt, grime and other unwanted substances every day. The oil that your skin secretes mixes with these and cause the skin pores to be blocked closing the outlet for sebum. This results in the formation of pimples. By washing your face frequently, you are cleaning the skin time to time.

If you are a person who wears a lot of make up, go for a brand that does not clog the pores on your skin and lead to the formation of pimples. Try to avoid it at every possible occasion. If you cannot avoid it at all, make it a point that you wash away the entire make up particles left on your skin before you go to bed. By thoroughly cleaning your face, you are leaving the pores open so that sebum does not get enveloped in the left-over make up layer and cause pimples to appear.

Exposing your face to steam is another simple yet effective option to get rid of those conspicuous pimples on your face. Do not attempt to squeeze the pimples as it might leave those dark marks which are really unattractive. Either you can expose your face to steam vapors or apply hot cloth on the pimples.
